“What I am reflecting on is that I have to forgive people, events, time, the world, the country and probably also myself in order to be able to write. Your Clarice Lispector was trying this, I assume, and somehow apparently she managed. Or maybe I should say this: I am writing in order to forgive.”

This edition closed with the literary Parcours throughout the city centre: more than 100 writers took the floor on Sunday.
With, among others, Tariq Ali, Antonio Lobo Antunes, John Banville, Véronique Bergen, Josse De Pauw, Mircea Dinescu, Paul Emond, Jacqueline Harpman, Kristien Hemmerechts, Tom Lanoye, Antonio Muñoz Molina, Pierre Michon, Caryl Philips, Abdelkader Benali, Kamiel Vanhole, A.F.Th. and Ludmila Ulitskaya.
