emily witt & heleen debruyne
A conversation between writer Heleen Debruyne and American journalist Emily Witt.
In Future Sex, Emily Witt investigates how, for women who grew up with the 'supermarket of sex', the abundance of options does not neccessarily lead to a conventional longterm relationship.
This brings her to a personal quest with hilarious and touching episodes. Witt – who is young and single – explores the entire range of possibilities and sexual subcultures, from online dating and internet porn to polyamory and orgasmic meditation. The result is an honest report, closer to a memoir than to an essay, of a modern quest for love and sex.
Emily Witt is a writer and essayist who lives in New York. She writes for, among others, n+1, The New Yorker, The New York Times, and the London Review of Books.
